Lyon, France

From October 6th- 23rd I will be in Lyon, France attending a Leadership Matters Course that OM runs for missional leadership. I have had a burden for France ever since one of my professors spoke about it as one of the darkest regions of the world spiritually. In the city of Lyon, France itself there are 1.26 million people and 150,000 of them are Muslim. There is a large Catholic influence from the past and the city has been historically dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

-Protestants make up about 1.75 % of the population
-About 25% of the population place thier faith in astrology and mediums
-Over 15% of the population spend approximately 45 billion euros per yer on occult consultations

It is obviously a very dark region of the world. Please pray with me that as we spend time getting taught that we would not forgo any opportunity to share our faith in the midst of this difficult and dark city.

The World as one still needs to be one in every way - physically ideologically, socially, economically, etc. Pangea Restored is a fully-orbed vision of what the world could be if the borders and barriers that most separate us were removed, literally, and the New World was reborn with Peace reigning. Let His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven..

Cause vs. Effect

If I couldn't see I'd be more affective If I was careful I wouldn't be here If I was courageous I would still fear If I had a million dollars I'd have a big house in the Bahamas. If I had a dollar I'd have a small house, somewhere in the Saharas. If I didn't own anything, I'd be able to receive everything If I had everything I'd be missing something If this was a song, I'd write it If it was a poem, it doesn't rhyme If i could live any life it would be my own If I could only tell you one thing, it would be, "Come Home"
